I started fishing in Backwater BassinTube club back in 2001 & I have watched it grow from a small club to Lewys dream. So as we grew to a Miniboat / Tube club, we grew bigger, but his ultimate dream was to have BIG boats in the club. As many thought this was not a good choice we stood by him and embraced it. Backwater Bassin is a Trail Club. Where we fish from Tubes, Miniboats, Bass boats. He wanted a club where all you needed was the transportation, and maybe some knowledge about fishing, and if you didn't know he was sure to tell you. He might have even thrown in a few stories along the way. As Lewys friend & co/director of they club he taught me a lot. I felt it was only appropriate to continue Backwater Bassin as a reminder of the love for the game of fishing & all the family & friends we have made along they way.

We are Ron, Joshua and Jeremy Black. We have not fished with the club in a few years, and are lookinng forward to the opportunity of returning in 2013. We hope all are doing well and look forward to seeing you this upcoming season. We have high hopes and are very excited about the future.
